2001 Manytrees Vineyard
Shiraz-Viognier |
 |
Nestled
in the Great Dividing Range northeast of Melbourne, the cool,
high-altitude Manytrees Vineyard is devoted entirely to the
production of Shiraz and Viognier. In the classic tradition,
the small percentage of aromatic white Viognier was co-fermented
with the Shiraz. Extended skin contact has provided a fine tannin
structure, and the wine shows complexity and considerable ageing
potential. |
