2002 Tarraford Vineyard Chardonnay

Vinified from 2 hectares of Chardonnay planted at Tarraford Vineyard, between Yarra Glen and Healesville in the central area of the Yarra Valley. Produced in a complex, savoury style inspired by the white wines of Burgundy, using a range of techniques such as whole-bunch pressing, barrel fermentation in small and larger French oak, and lees stirring to achieve great complexity and harmony.

2001 Manytrees Vineyard Shiraz-Viognier

Nestled in the Great Dividing Range northeast of Melbourne, the cool, high-altitude Manytrees Vineyard is devoted entirely to the production of Shiraz and Viognier. In the classic tradition, the small percentage of aromatic white Viognier was co-fermented with the Shiraz. Extended skin contact has provided a fine tannin structure, and the wine shows complexity and considerable ageing potential.
